SUBJECT: PROCUREMENT PROCESS TRAINING

I write to invite you or your representative from your agency to attend to procurement process training session. NPC is conducting procurement process training at the head office in Waigani NCD located at Spring Garden Road Gordons.

All Government agencies and procurement committees (District Procurement Committees, Provincial Procurement Committees, Special Procurement Committees and other procurement officers attached to Government Agencies) are requested to register to participate by filling in the provided registration form below.

Many Projects both Government funded and Donor Funded are delayed by procuring agencies and the Procurement Commission and Procurement Committees due to lack of procurement skills.

This training is conducted to help Government Organizations and their procurement officers upskill their understanding of the current procurement law (National Procurement Act 2018), PFMA, APC requirements and the mandatory procurement process requirement.

The presenters will be:

  1. NPC team will present on all other procurement process requirements
  2. Department of finance (DoF) team presenting on project funding, annual procurement plan, PFMA and APC requirements.
  3. Office of State Solicitors (OSS) team will be presenting on Legal clearance and correctness, contract agreement and other legal requirements

Due to limited space in the training room, we have space for only 30 participants per session. Space will be reserved on first come first served basis.

All intending participants are urged to register as soon as possible.

We planned to have 3 days training Weekly, from Tuesdays to Thursdays. We will update you on this website, for the exact training Schedules.
